Signature capture - additional info

In addition to being able to type in the name of the signature as recommended in another post I would like to add a couple other things to the signature box that pops up.

I think the total amount due should appear in the corner and I'd also like to be able to add my own disclaimer.  On my current hard copy invoices below the signature line it reads "I hereby acknowledge the satisfactory completion of the above described work".  I have all customers sign upon completion of my services just to cover my butt.

It just seems a bit awkward to have customers just sign a blank screen. I myself would be a bit hesitant at giving my signature, which could be potentially slipped into any document/contract.  I just think having the price at least gives them a sense of security as to WHAT they are signing for/agreeing to.
