QBD: Run as Administrator

When you upgrade to QuickBooks Desktop 2022 or later, the Sync Manager may stop syncing.  You will see a Sync Log that looks like this -- it just stops at Syncing Sales Reps.

Here's how to resolve this:

 

STEP 1:  Log out of your QuickBooks and InvoiceASAP Sync Manager.

STEP 2:  Right-click on QuickBooks and select Properties

STEP 3:  Select the Compatibility tab.  Check "Run this program as administrator" and Save

STEP 5:  Repeat Steps 3 & 4 for the Sync Manager icon.

 

STEP 6:  Open your QB file.

 

 

STEP 7:   Open the Sync Manager and click on Sync.

STEP 8:  The sync starts running.

STEP 9:  If the sync is successful, you'll see a smiley face.

    quickbooks will not allow me access to our network when opening under administrator.  need someone to call me and help me with this update.
