Clover/InvoiceASAP Q&A

Once you download InvoiceASAP app on your Clover device, moving forward you will use the InvoiceASAP app interface to create invoices and take payments. The invoice will be marked as paid and the payment will process through your Clover account.

InvoiceASAP works with the Clover Register Plan, Clover Lite Plan, and Clover Payment Plus Plan. 

How to take payment in InvoiceASAP, all funds will process through Clover 

  1. All in-person transactions will process through the InvoiceASAP app on your Clover device
  2. Email invoices from the InvoiceASAP system to collect payments via email
  3. From the InvoiceASAP dashboard, preview invoice to manually key in the credit card number 
  4. From the InvoiceASAP mobile device or tablet, preview the invoice and manually key in the credit card number 

Four ways to access InvoiceASAP

  1. From your Clover device, download from the App Market
  2. Log in from InvoiceASAP Dashboard. Go here: www.invoiceasap.com
  3. Download InvoiceASAP on any iOS device or Android device
  4. From the Clover dashboard on your computer

 

Download InvoiceASAP on your Clover device or From the Clover Dashboard on your computer. These are the only way to buy a subscription between Clover and InvoiceASAP.

InvoiceASAP only works on the Station, Mini, Flex, Mobile, and Clover Dashboard. We do not integrate with Clover GO.

How does InvoiceASAP work on a Clover device?

  1. Make sure you have bought the subscription from your Clover device or from the Clover Dashboard on your computer.
  2. Moving forward, you can use the InvoiceASAP app on your Clover device to process payments.
  3. You will create the invoice within the InvoiceASAP app.
  4. Then pay the invoice within the InvoiceASAP app. 
  5. This will mark the invoice as paid in InvoiceASAP and process the funds through your Clover account.
  6. Alternately, you can send your customer the invoice.
  7. The invoice contains a payment form that your customer can enter their credit card information.
  8. This will mark the invoice as paid in InvoiceASAP and process the funds through your Clover account.

 

Need to import Inventory from Clover into InvoiceASAP? 

We currently do not sync inventory from Clover into InvoiceASAP. There is a manually work-around to do this. There are two ways to bring your inventory over into InvoiceASAP.

  1. You can export your inventory from Clover to CSV or Excel.
  2. Copy and paste to InvoiceASAP format. Download Product Format file.csv

  3. We do offer to sync between InvoiceASAP and QuickBooks. After syncing, Customers, Taxes, Inventory, and Prices from QuickBooks would be available inside InvoiceASAP.
  4. We do not have a barcode scanner that works with InvoiceASAP.

 

Need to import your Customer List from Clover into InvoiceASAP?

We currently do not sync customers from Clover into InvoiceASAP. There is also a manually work-around to do this.

  1. Export your customers from your Clover Dashboard to CSV or Excel.
  2. You can upload your customer list to the InvoiceASAP website.

  4. Copy and paste your Clover Excel data into the InvoiceASAP format from the article. The format is attached to the article.
  5. Upload to the InvoiceASAP website.
  6. Click Refresh to bring this data over into the InvoiceASAP app on your Clover device.

 

How to take payments using InvoiceASAP

You can take payment from the Clover POS and InvoiceASAP Website.

  1. Moving forward, the merchant will use InvoiceASAP app on the Clover device to process payment on the Clover device. This will mark the invoice as paid in InvoiceASAP and process the payment through your Clover. The funds will be in your Clover account.

  2. From the InvoiceASAP website, you can email the invoice to your customer. The customer can pay from the web-invoice.

  3. You can also preview the invoice on the InvoiceASAP Dashboard and manually type in the credit card information yourself. 

  4. On the mobile device, you can Preview the invoice and manually type in the card.
